Mode of Admission

Admission to HAMEC is open to all without discrimination to gender, tribe or religion. The diversity provides the strength that is needed in our everyday living.

Eligibility for admission is dependent on performance at the written examination and oral interview. The offer of a place in the school is at the discretion of the school.

For entry into Year 7 (JSS 1), Students must be at least 10 years old by August 1st of their entrance year. They will be required to sit for our entrance exams in English, Mathematics, General Knowledge and Creative Writing. Admission Forms are obtainable at the School or can be downloaded from College Website – www.hamecschool.com.

Once filled, the forms must be returned with the following:

– 2 recent passport photographs

– Photocopy of Birthday Certificate (original will need to be sighted at the interview stage)

– Photocopy of last three terms’ report from present school

Entrance Examination are usually held in the College as well as other centres across the country between January and March. Arrangements can be made for applicants living abroad to sit their exams in their current school. Please contact the school for details.

Fees details and other expenses payable can be obtained from the Administrative or Accounts’ Office. All fees must be paid on or before the date of resumption. Further Information can be obtained from the Finance Manager. All payments are by bank drafts made payable to HENRY ALEX-DUDUYEMI MEMORIAL COLLEGE, ILE-IFE through our designated banks.

To be eligible for entry into Year 7 (JSS1), students must be at least 10 years old by August 1st of the year of entry.

HAMEC is a dual-curriculum school, offering both the Nigerian and British curricula. Students are prepared for a range of examinations, including the JSSCE, NECO, WASSCE, and the Cambridge IGCSE examinations.

The school provides excellent, secure, and homely boarding facilities with proper supervision. The campus features a first-class health facility (sick-bay) manned by qualified medical professionals for first aid treatment. For emergencies, the school maintains a retainership arrangement with the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex (OAUTHC).
